Workplaces of the future have never been more technologically-reliant and distributed, and 2023 will continue to emphasize these trends that much more. 

Driven by the immersion of newly graduated, young workers, both employee and employer expectations of the workplace will continue to evolve — meaning managers must be ready for inevitable changes and how they converge with traditional habits.

One of the more obvious shifts to expect in 2023 is the full embrace of alternative work models, which has been linked to higher levels of employee satisfaction. However, without a procedural approach, companies can face major security ramifications.  

To avoid an infiltration of security risks, employers must have a detailed strategy to ensure employees can work effectively from their chosen environment. This can include providing designated devices for company-specific information or Virtual Private Network (VPN) access.
