The firm plans to invest further in LTG to enhance its product offerings and ensure the company remains relevant in an increasingly tech-driven workplace.

U.S. private equity firm General Atlantic has agreed to acquire Learning Technologies Group (LTG), a U.K.-based provider of corporate training solutions, for £802 million.

The deal highlights General Atlantic’s growing interest in the corporate training sector as businesses increasingly focus on adapting to artificial intelligence (AI) and evolving employee development needs, according to The Guardian.

LTG, which offers mobile apps, videos, and other tools for corporate learning, has faced challenges as AI disrupts traditional content creation and companies cut back on custom training solutions to save costs.

General Atlantic sees an opportunity to revamp LTG’s products to keep pace with the changing market and strengthen its competitive position.
