The U.K. and Ireland are seeing strong coworking space growth as flexible work becomes a standard option for many professionals. By the third quarter of 2025, the region hosts 4,315 coworking locations — ranking it among the world’s most connected markets for shared office space.
Greater London leads with 1,191 spaces, while Manchester, Glasgow, and Birmingham are top regional hubs. In Ireland, Dublin dominates with 126 locations, nearly half of the country’s total, driven by startups, multinational firms, and remote workers, according to CoworkingCafe.Â
Prices vary widely. U.K. day passes average £25, rising to £30 in London, Edinburgh, Belfast, and Oxford. Monthly memberships average £180, peaking at £295 in Oxford and £200 in London.Â
In Ireland, day passes cost €25 nationally and €32 in Dublin, with monthly memberships around €205. Meeting room rentals and virtual office services also show notable city differences.
Leading operators shape the sector. Regus has the largest national presence in both countries. Bruntwood, Fora, Workspace Group, and Spaces concentrate on specific cities or regions.Â
In Ireland, Pembr focuses entirely on Dublin, while Regus is the only major operator with locations across the country.
