New York, NY – April 30, 2026 – Today, WeWork, a leading global real estate platform, was named to the TIME100 Most Influential Companies of 2026 list. The sixth-annual list highlights companies making an extraordinary impact around the world.

WeWork – featured in the Disruptors category – is the only real estate platform on the list, and was recognized for its ‘masterful turnaround.’ TIME noted the company’s strong membership among Fortune 100 companies, its evolution and its position advising companies on how to ‘balance their portfolios between owned, long-term lease, and flex space.’

Earlier this week, WeWork was also named to the 2026 TIME100 Companies: Industry Leaders in the Design and Build category, highlighting companies that have shaped physical environments through innovative approaches to real estate, design and construction. The Industry Leaders lists are an expansion of the TIME100 Most Influential Companies, and comprises 20 sector-specific lists celebrating 200 businesses setting new standards and pushing their industries forward.

“This recognition by TIME marks a significant milestone in WeWork’s transformation,” said John Santora, CEO, WeWork. “It reflects the meaningful progress we’ve made in building a stronger, more disciplined business, while also underscoring our role as a partner to organizations navigating a rapidly evolving workplace. Our vertically integrated platform brings together space, services and technology to help companies operate with greater flexibility and efficiency.”

To assemble the list, TIME solicited nominations across sectors, and polled its global network of contributors and correspondents, as well as outside experts. Then TIME editors evaluated each on key factors, including impact, innovation, ambition, and success. The result is a diverse group of companies shaping global business.
