Georgetown Venture Lab Is Moving Into WeWork
Technical.ly reported this week that Georgetown University will give student entrepreneurs access to off-campus workspace in WeWork’s White House Location. Students from Georgetown Venture Lab will have access to 90 desks and have a WeWork community manager working directly with them.
CIC Raises US$58 Million
“Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC) has closed a $58 million round of funding from European real estate developer HB Reavis (HBR),” VentureBeat reported this week. According to the article, the funds will be used to expand CIC’s network throughout the world, including a new 145,000 square foot campus in Warsaw.

The Real Deal reported this week that a cannabis-only coworking space is coming to Hollywood. According to the article, “a company that wants to use blockchain to legalize cannabis worldwide is creating a coworking space in Hollywood strictly for small companies and freelancers working in the legal por industry.” Paragon Space will be located at 1459 Tamarind Avenue.
