The NYC based women-only coworking space, The Wing, has announced its entrance into the media industry with a new podcast, No Man’s Land.

The Wing Is Diving Into The Media Industry
The luxury, women-only coworking space born in New York is expanding well beyond the flexible workspace industry and building a media brand, Forbes reported this week. The company has already launched a podcast program that focuses on historic women. The podcast, “No Man’s Land partnered with New York magazine’s The Cut” and distribution partners include Barnes & Noble.

Spaces Grows In London
Property Week reported a few days ago that International Workplace Group’s (IWG) coworking brand, Spaces, has swooped up six more locations in London. According to the article these six new locations will take Space’s total London footprint to 291,000 square feet.

WeWork India
The Economic Times India reported this week that “the Indian arm of coworking space giant WeWork, controlled by billionaire developer Jitu Virwani of Embassy Group, is talking to Goldman Sachs and Warburg Pincus, among others, to raise up to $200 million.”

Trends In The Global Workforce
Workplace Insights reported this week that “the majority of the global workforce now work somewhere other than the office every week.” The article cites IWG recent report, which found that “every week 70 percent of employees are working at least one day a week somewhere other than the office. More than half (53 percent) work remotely for half of the week or more, whilst more than one in 10 (11 percent) people work outside of their company’s main office location five times a week.”
