Several Fortune 500 Companies Find New Home in WeWork’s Enterprise Coworking Space Plans
Although coworking was once a home for many startups and entrepreneurs looking for a flexible, more affordable home, many large companies are following suit.
“As more and more companies understand the direct correlation between workspace and employee engagement, enterprise companies — or companies with more than 1,000 employees — are coming to WeWork for office space solutions,” Bobby Condon, WeWork’s General Manager, Southeast, tells GlobeSt.com.
WeWork’s enterprise memberships have been the company’s fastest growing option, growing 210% in just one year. A quarter of Fortune 500 companies, including GM, Microsoft, and Spotify are now members.
Coworking spaces have been on the uprise with companies seeking a more collaborative environment, without the commitment of a long-term contract.
“Nearly half of our enterprise members chose WeWork because they wanted a more innovative, entrepreneurial environment,” Condon says.
