By combining work facilities, home facilities, leisure facilities, and hospitality services, coworking hotels are catering to the needs of “digital nomads.”
Digital nomads references workers who can work and communicate remotely.
“Driven by globalization and the ‘gig’ economy, the current generation of millennials especially benefits from flexible work hours and autonomy over their workplace and work style,” according to Hospitality Net. “The number of coworking members is expected to increase from 1.2 million in 2017 to 3.8 million in 2020 according to Emergent Research.”
Thanks to the internet, the increase in digital nomads directly correlates with the increase in coworking spaces. It is the most reasonable, flexible, and easily accessible option for those who travel often.
