The premium coworking provider for growing businesses, Hub Australia, has officially opened the doors to its first site in Brisbane, Hub Anzac Square. Located at 200 Adelaide Street, Hub Anzac Square totals 3,900 square metres across four levels (levels four, five six and the rooftop) at Charter Hall’s award-winning Anzac Square building and will cater for up to 700 members.
Hub Anzac Square brings together design driven, state-of-the-art amenities and flexible coworking solutions including private offices for one to twenty people, dedicated desks and flexible desks. The offer is targeted at growing businesses of all sizes and corporates looking for flexible space for project teams, with leading Australian media publisher, Pedestrian TV and also Audience Group confirmed as some of the coworking tenants.
The newly opened site continues local coworking pioneer Hub Australia’s focus on building a nationally engaged coworking community and brings Hub Australia’s national footprint close to 20,000 square metres across Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. The arrival of Hub Australia marks an exciting chapter for Brisbane’s business community says Hub Australia CEO and Founder, Brad Krauskopf. “We’re proud to be a part of Brisbane’s continuing transformation into a business and innovation hub and excited to be extending our national coworking community with the opening of Hub Anzac Square.
“The State and City Government’s exemplary investment in local business has driven significant growth in the startup sector and Brisbane has remained the second-largest city for startup founders for the last two years. The addition of Hub Anzac Square will provide growing and established businesses a high-quality workplace that helps them attract and retain talent,” says Brad Krauskopf, Hub Australia CEO and Founder.
Setting the bar for quality and amenity in Brisbane’s coworking sector, Hub Australia provides its members with access to architecturally designBed facilities including diverse working and break out areas, high-tech meeting and event spaces, and the ability to customise spaces to support individual business’ culture and brand.
Lord Mayor Graham Quirk welcomed Hub Australia to Brisbane and said its commitment reinforced Brisbane’s reputation as a great place to live, work and invest. “The launch of this coworking space comes at an exciting time of growth, with huge investment in small to medium businesses in Brisbane.
“Brisbane is recognised internationally as an innovative hub – ranked in the top 12% of global cities for innovation. We are committed to optimising technology and encouraging innovation to help build and sustain the growth and development of our city,”says Lord Mayor Graham Quirk.
Hub Anzac Square members also have exclusive access to a media studio with podcasting and photography equipment, a fitness space, relaxation rooms, premium end-of-trip facilities with towel service and a parents room.
A rooftop terrace and in-house café will open for members and their guests in January 2019, with views over CBD skyline and Brisbane River. Members also have the benefit of Anzac Square on their doorstep. Hub Australia’s strategy of revitalising heritage and iconic sites into premium coworking space is continued at Hub Anzac Square. The design draws upon key architecture elements distinct to the Hub Australia brand with bespoke adaptations, such as an emphasis on a neutral ‘Hamptons’ inspired colour palette that celebrates the subtropical Brisbane climate. Natural greenery is in abundance throughout the space, with Hub Australia’s plant designer curating a selection of indoor plants to improve members wellbeing and air quality.
The building retains many of the original art deco features including classical cast iron balustrading staircases with timber handrails, mosaic and terrazzo features and polished concrete floors. An abundance of natural light flood both levels four and five via an atrium inset with large original art-deco timber framed windows on the south side of the building.
Centrally located in the CBD, ease of access to public transport is considerable, with direct access to busses stopping along Adelaide Street and Central Station accessible via a undercover walkway, Brisbane Airport is just 30 minutes way.
