The Wing, a network of work and community spaces with locations across the US, will be opening its first international location in London’s Fitzrovia district this autumn.
The Wing London will occupy five floors of a 12,000 square foot townhouse and will feature a collection of specially curated amenities, including a tea room, roof terrace, library and a portrait room in honour of inspirational British women.
Additional features include a restaurant, private meeting rooms, phone booths, a “quiet room”, a dedicated printing area, events spaces, a hidden meeting room and a beauty room designed in collaboration with Sloane London Fabrics. Custom-made furniture will fill the space, designed by the network’s in-house interiors team which is led by Senior Interior Designer, Laetitia Gorra.
The Wing is fast becoming one of the world’s most influential women’s networks and this new addition brings its portfolio to a total of nine spaces. The Wing’s spaces provide members with a place to meet, work, learn and collaborate and membership — which comprises women from a diverse range of ages, professions and backgrounds — currently stands at 8,000.
Weekly events range from support groups to panel discussions, with past speakers including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Jennifer Lawrence and Venus Williams.
