Workplace Design Needs to Evolve Post-Pandemic

JLL argues in a recent post that the traditional office will have to undergo some changes in order to break up the monotony for workers that have been stuck at home for over a year. 

“We have been having a lot more conversations with leaders about how workplace design can help employees feel energized, connected and engaged,” said JLL Wellbeing Product Lead, Experience Services Director Melissa Walker.

Workers need a much needed change of scenery. In the workplace this can take the form of color therapy rooms, rooftop spaces, and improved amenities. What’s most important, however, is that companies listen to employees and leverage their feedback to ensure the workplace continues to support the needs of workers post-pandemic.
