IWG-owned Regus will add to its network of offices in Lagos, Nigeria within the Gbagada neighborhood, marking its eighth center in the country.

The new location is situated on Biscayne Boulevard, where it will occupy over 31,000 square feet across three floors of the 30-story RFR Realty-owned building.

Currently, the CommercialEdge network comprises hundreds of thousands of commercial real estate listings including 6,000 coworking spaces and 50,000 other properties.

New York-based Common and Berlin-based Habyt will come together to create Habyt Group, giving the newfound company a portfolio of around 11,000 coliving spaces around the world.

The Massachusetts state government is reportedly walking back on its offices in Boston as Governor Charlie Baker’s administration leans towards hybrid and remote work models for staff.

“The fusion between LWP and coworking is a natural response to the rising demand for flexible workspaces from remote workers, freelancers, startups or smaller businesses,” wrote Laura Pop Badiu.

In addition to expanding to meet demand, landlords also want to diversify, with half of respondents saying around 16% to 25% of their portfolios will be flexible by 2025.
