Birmingham: Regus, a Belgium-based provider of flexible workspaces, has signed a lease in the Meadow Brook office park for its fourth metro Birmingham location.
The company, which has 11 employees based in the metro, has leased about 15,000 square feet in suite 200 of the Meadow Brook South building at 2700 Corporate Dr., said Jamie Beedle, area director in Regus’ southern division.
Regus plans to hire another two or three people to staff the office, which opens in mid to late summer, Beedle said.
The company is taking space formerly occupied by Momentum Telecom, which downsized its space. After the lease with Regus, the building is 100 percent leased.
Jerry Grant of Daniel Corp. represented the landlord, Lord Baltimore Properties. Anita Turner, who was with Jones Lang LaSalle when the deal closed but is now with Collers International’s Birmingham office, represented Regus.
