The Mayor of Walsall, Councillor Angela Underhill, was the guest of honour at the grand opening of Citibase Walsall – the town’s newest business hub on Thursday 21st April.
Located in an historic Old Foundry building, the Mayor was given a tour of the new state-of-the-art, fully serviced business centre before she cut the ribbon to declare the centre officially open.
Local businesses and entrepreneurs who took the opportunity to explore more about the centre on its open day included those from the recruitment, IT, vehicle solutions and property sectors amongst others.
Centre Manager, Glen McCulloch said: “We were delighted to host The Mayor and members of the local business community at our open day. It was a pleasure to showcase the great flexible and affordable fully serviced office space that we can offer to businesses. We look forward to helping incubate and support the small business economy of the region and become an important hub and source of employment for the local community.”
The centre offers 24 hour access with secure on-site parking, meeting room facilities, manned reception, business support services and personalised call handling. Businesses also benefit from a range of superfast internet and telecom packages.
As with Citibases’ other business centres throughout the UK, Citibase Walsall offers flexible short term and affordable contracts, which will appeal to entrepreneurs and businesses who are often deterred by long term office leases. Suites are offered in various sizes from one person to much larger spaces making it ideal for businesses at every level of their development. When fully occupied, Citibase Walsall will be able to provide desk space for up to 260 local entrepreneurs.
