Overlooking Copley Square, The Yard: Back Bay will occupy 32,147 square feet on the 6th floor of 120 St. James Avenue in Boston Properties’ 200 Clarendon building. The Yard signed a 15-year lease in the iconic, sky blue windowed, 62-story building which holds the title of New England’s tallest building. Recognized as an innovation in modern, minimalist design, the gorgeous skyscraper will provide a space for businesses and entrepreneurs to grow their business in an environment that is as impressive as it is productive. The landlord, Boston Properties, and The Yard were represented by Transwestern. The Back Bay location is scheduled to open in Fall 2017.

“The new Back Bay location checked off all the boxes in what we typically look for in a space: a great neighborhood, central location with public transportation, a gorgeous building with views, a vibrant local, community and a desirable address for growing businesses,” said Richard Beyda, co-founder, The Yard. “We were invigorated by the Boston community and had been looking for about a year for the right space and the right partner, which we found in this stunning building from Boston Properties.”

Members will also get access to the high-quality design and amenities the company has come to be known for including curated art galleries, 24/7 access and security, printing facilities, coffee and kitchen space, natural light and views of the city, ample conference rooms and lounge areas on each floor, and the ability to connect to BackYard, The Yard’s app which connects thousands of members in their multi-city network and provides access to exclusive events and perks, a social news feed, conference room booking, unlock 24/7 door access and more.
