Coworking brand brings its upscale concept to downtown Nashville’s 159 4th Avenue North building of the L & C Tower complex

NASHVILLE, Tenn., March 29, 2017 — New York City-based Serendipity Labs Coworking announced today that its franchise development partner for Nashville – SLN Capital LLC, owned by Dan McEwan, CEO of Memphis, Tenn.-based Maximum Hospitality – has signed a lease for 15,000 square feet in the iconic 159 4th Avenue North building of the L & C Tower complex.

The coworking space will occupy a portion of the first floor and the entire second floor of the building’s adjoining nine-story annex and will offer a work lounge, team rooms, private offices, a café and event space.

McEwan anticipates an early August opening for the downtown location, and has plans for additional locations in the Nashville market. Nationally, Serendipity Labs has six current locations with approximately 100 locations under development.

“We are pleased to bring Serendipity Labs to downtown Nashville,” said McEwan, “As the area continues its unprecedented growth, coworking concepts have changed the way businesses view office space, allowing established companies to extend their real estate footprint, and professional and fast-growing companies a safe, welcoming, hospitality-driven workplace so they may focus on innovation and growth.”

McEwan’s hospitality management company has developed and managed five hotel properties in the Nashville market. “Serendipity Labs delivers member and guest experiences in a way that ‘big box’ coworking simply cannot.”

“Our members are established professionals who come from a cross section of industries. About 45 percent are employees of established companies, 20 percent are start-ups, and 35 percent are independents. More than 40 percent are women – double the industry average,” says John Arenas, CEO of Serendipity Labs.

“There’s no better partner for us than Maximum Hospitality. As Starwood Preferred Management Company, they have proven expertise in the hospitality industry and will more than deliver on our brand promise by bringing upscale coworking to Nashville.”

Memberships include use of dedicated private offices, team rooms, full-time and part-time coworking and day passes. All members may take advantage of the lab café, work lounge, and phone retreats with dedicated landlines. Corporate memberships offer centralized billing and reporting. Members also benefit from access to the growing network of Serendipity Labs locations across the country for remote meetings. The local Nashville team will curate a full schedule of programming, meetups and seminars and the space may be reserved for off-site and evening events.
