Alibaba Teams Up With Sydney-Based Coworking Operator
Smart Company Australia reported this week that e-commerce giant, Alibaba, has partnered with Haymarket HQ, a coworking space in Sydney, to host a global startup contest in Australia. Startups will participate in a pitch competition, “battling to receive US$50,000 in credit for Alibaba cloud product resources, and the chance to pitch in front of global investors at the CASCS world championship in Shanghai in October.”
Serendipity Labs Announces First Location In Dallas
Flexible workspace provider, Serendipity Labs, announced earlier this week that it will be opening its first Dallas location in November this year. The space will boast an impressive 29,000 square-feet at the KPMG Plaza at HALL Arts, according to their PR release.
Nigeria Held Its First Coworking Conference
Nigeria held its first ever coworking conference in Filmhouse Lekki 1 inside an IMAX Theater, Pulse NG reported this week. Presentations and discussions were centered around tech, innovation, collaboration, and connectivity. The event brought together industry personalities from all across Nigeria, as well as Leanne Beesley, co-founder of Coworker.
