Monday January 8, 2018 — Coworker.com announced today that it has acquired Coworking Insights, an online publication for coworking space managers and team members. Coworking Insights enables people to learn best practices from experienced coworking space operators, read in-depth stories from coworking teams on the front lines, find inspiration for fresh ideas to implement in their own communities, and access data-driven trends.
“I started Coworking Insights in 2015 because I wasn’t satisfied with the quality of content that was being put out about and for coworking people.” said Ryan Chatterton, Founder of Coworking Insights. “There were too many list posts and analyses of the industry from outsiders. Our scene needed some real, honest, deep content that spoke to the truth of what it’s like to really be in the coworking world, not just looking at it from the outside.”
After a year and a half of creating content, Chatterton began exploring ways to take Coworking Insights to the next level in order to keep pace with the rapidly growing industry.
Commenting on today’s announcement, Chatterton said, “In the summer of 2017 I approached Coworker about a potential partnership. To my ultimate delight, they had even bigger ideas: the acquisition of Coworking Insights. I was originally drawn to Coworker’s energy, brand, and the amazing team around the time I went to CU Asia 2017. I had been hearing a lot of good things about them from people I trust in the coworking industry, so when Coworker made an offer to buy Coworking Insights, and laid out a proposal for the great platform we could build together, saying “yes” was a no-brainer. They were high-energy, authentic, and really cared about brand and image. I’m happy the growth of Coworking Insights is in good hands, with more resources to make it happen.”
Leanne Beesley, Coworker’s Chief Executive Officer, added, “Coworking Insights is one of the most compelling and helpful publications for coworking industry advice, so we are delighted to bring it into the Coworker network to help fuel its growth.”
Chatterton plans to stay involved with Coworking Insights, taking on a new title as Chief Editor, while writing a monthly column. He will also be spearheading new content mediums, as well as co-organizing and hosting coworking events around the world.
