AdvantEdge Workspaces, Washington, D.C.’s premier executive office suites and shared office space provider, celebrated its 30th anniversary on February 1, 2018.
For three decades, AdvantEdge has remained one of the few owner-operated and managed office space providers in the District. The company has come a long way from the small start-up founded in 1988, and currently features two Class-A locations, tens of thousands of square feet of space, and hundreds of clients.
AdvantEdge will continue to grow and meet the needs of clients. When rebranding last year from AdvantEdge Business Centers to AdvantEdge Workspaces, they reaffirmed their commitment to be a leader in the industry. The name change reflects the ever-expanding diversity of workspace and business support options that they offer.
Thirty years ago, AdvantEdge began with a single location, a handful of clients, and the goal of creating a better way to work. Fax machines and switchboard telephones were all the rage and client support was handled by the Founder and CEO, Prakash Gavri. Now, AdvantEdge uses the latest technology to ensure that clients are serviced in the most efficient and helpful way. Over the past 30 years, the spaces have increased by over 100,000 square feet and now feature full-time support from the client services coordinators.
“Though our office space, amenities, and technology have continuously evolved over the past 30 years, our dedication to superior service, flexible solutions, and deep-rooted investment in helping small businesses succeed has remained constant,” said Gavri.
“We will continue to adapt and grow our services based on future workplace trends while continuing to draw on our expertise as an industry leader.”
Gavri started AdvantEdge as a way to take the hassle of business away from the owners. He saw that people spent too much time on administrative tasks instead of focusing on the business itself. Thus, AdvantEdge was created as a space where top-notch services are provided so that people can focus on their work.
Gavri and the AdvantEdge team are looking forward to many more years of supporting their clients and growing the AdvantEdge community.
