The Wall Street Journal (paywall) reported this week that flexible workspace operator, Knotel, raised US$60 million from venture firms. According to the article, “the investment will bring Knotel’s total fundraising to $160 million. The latest round of funding will go toward expanding into new markets and adding locations in cities where Knotel already exists.”
Women-focused coworking operator, The Wing, announced Thursday that it will launch The Little Wing, “a space designed for kids to play so their parents can take flight.” According to a CNBC article, the childcare initiative will launch in The Wing’s Soho and West Hollywood locations and it will have on-site certified babysitters that will provide supervision and programming for kids.

Dezeen reported this week that Ministry of Sound teamed up with an architecture studio to create a coworking space and private members lounge in a former 1860s printing factory.
