Australia, April 3, 2019 – Australia’s largest locally owned coworking provider, Hub Australia, has launched its Flexi-Impact program which aims to support purpose-driven businesses by offering one percent of its total member capacity as complimentary 12-month memberships.

The Flexi Impact program has recently welcomed its first round of 31 purpose-driven businesses who each received a free Hub Australia membership to one of its coworking locations across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide. Hub Australia received over 130 applications to the program from businesses ranging from not-for-profits to environmental organisations and social movement businesses.

The introduction of the Flexi-Impact program continues Hub Australia’s commitment to having a positive impact on the world and local communities, driven by its role as a certified B Corporation. With a national network of over 2,000 members across six locations, Hub Australia offers a business community for networking, friendships and collaboration. The Flexi-Impact memberships will give purpose-driven businesses a chance to access an inspiring coworking space, state-of-the-art amenities, business networks and ultimately help accelerate their growth.

“At Hub Australia, we aim to connect people and organisations with talent, ideas, and resources. By supporting these emerging purpose-driven organisations, it enables us to impact the world for the better. We are proud to support these businesses through our Flexi-Impact program as they strive to tackle challenging social issues, and we look forward to seeing the positive changes they will make on the world.

“With a philosophy to drive global movement of people using business as a force for good, we implement various impact-driven initiatives such as our staff being offered one percent of their paid time to volunteer with local organisations. We are also on track to become a fully-certified carbon neutral organisation by 2020,” says Brad Krauskopf, Hub Australia CEO and Founder.

Hub Australia’s Flexi-Impact memberships cover an array of social impact areas including arts and culture, healthcare and mental health, ethical business practice and domestic violence services.

One of the unique businesses newly welcomed to Hub Southern Cross, Melbourne, as part of the Flexi Impact program, is the world’s leading source for fashion brands’ ethical ratings, Good On You.

Founded in Australia, Good On You, combines public information and expert analysis to give each brand an easy-to-understand ethical score, allowing users to discover brands from around the world as well as educating about ethical and sustainable fashion in the process. Good On You’s ethical impact is being felt across the world with its contributions to the UN Sustainable development goal and support from English actress, Emma Watson, who uses it as her benchmark for sustainable fashion.

Founder of Good on You, Sandra Capponi, says “We’re really excited to join the Hub Australia coworking community and it’s inspiring to work alongside so many other entrepreneurs. The Flexi-Impact membership lets us focus on what’s important – expanding Good On You’s global reach and helping more people choose better fashion brands with our trusted ethical ratings.”

The next intake for Flexi Impact memberships will be determined at the end of 2019 taking into account 1% of Hub Australia’s member capacity for 2020.
