London’s Hoxton Hotel has launched its coworking brand ‘Working From_’ after a decade of its lobby being used as an unofficial office.
The inclusion of coworking spaces within the hotel chain is being tested in two of its locations in Chicago and London Southwark later this month.
“Our lobbies were getting busier and busier and when we looked at our spaces, what people are demanding of the space, they wanted more focus, more dedication, and more facilities,” said chief marketing officer Martina Luger.
The Southwark location will contain 744 desks across seven floors, meeting rooms, and kitchens.
Memberships will range from the £75 ‘Side Hustler’ rate that reserves a shared desk for members, to an entire private studio space for £700 per month.
While Working From_ is similar to other popular coworking companies, it hopes to differentiate itself through transparency. That means no hidden hosts and charges to use particular services, which is often seen at other operators.
