PORTLAND, OR (July, 2019) — Deskpass, the innovative leader in shared workspace access, announced today that its monthly subscription service is now available in Portland to give freelancers and remote workers a convenient and affordable way to check out a curated selection of shared workspaces and conference rooms.

“We are very excited to offer Deskpass in Portland, one of the cities at the forefront of remote working,” said Sam Rosen, cofounder and CEO of Deskpass. “In today’s market and growing demand for flexible workspaces, it can be challenging to find a coworking space that fits your needs and personality. Deskpass allows you to try multiple locations without worrying about making a long-term or pricey commitment.”

Using its website or mobile app, new subscribers can sign up for Deskpass’s “mini” plan for free and work at up to four locations per month. After the trial the plan is $49 a month, representing a significant savings over the day rate at most spaces. Monthly Deskpass membership includes access to its entire network of more than 350 coworking locations and hundreds of hourly workspaces in 11 cities nationwide — including 10 coworking locations and 15 meeting spaces in Portland, such as CENTRL Office and openHAUS, with more coming soon. The website and mobile app allow members to filter locations by proximity, amenities, parking options and more.

For those who work remotely more often, the part-time plan includes up to eight visits a month for $99, and full-time members can use the service 20 times in a month — or every day Monday through Friday — for $199. Part-time and full-time members may visit each coworking space up to five times a month, and unused days roll over to the next month. Annual plans are also available.

“We think Deskpass is a fantastic way to explore coworking, and to get yourself out of the isolation or distractions of a home office or local cafe and into a vibrant community of other remote workers,” Rosen said. He noted that nearly 4 million Americans now work from home more than half the week, according to a report by job search company FlexJobs.

In addition to coworking options, Deskpass offers the ability to book hundreds of conference rooms, private offices, training centers and additional meeting spaces by the hour at a discounted rate. The service takes the legwork out of searching for a meeting room in an unfamiliar city, and makes the reservation process fast and easy.

About Deskpass

Founded in 2015, Deskpass is a monthly membership that offers affordable as-needed access to an ever-growing network of professionally managed coworking spaces and conference rooms to work, learn and meet in. Headquartered in Chicago, Deskpass is now available at hundreds of locations in more than 10 cities throughout North America, with more coming soon. Information on locations and plans is available at deskpass.com.
