NEW YORK, NY (July, 2019) – Industrious, the largest premium flexible workspace provider in the U.S., today announced its expansion into Pasadena, CA. As a partnership with property owner ShopCore Properties, Industrious will take approximately 27,000 square-feet at One Colorado, a mixed-use property spanning a full city block in the heart of Old Pasadena. The location will be known as Industrious Old Pasadena.
“There is an increasing demand for integrated live, work, play centers and our partnership with ShopCore Properties further signifies that convergence,” said Justin Stewart, president and co-founder of Industrious. “Industrious is dedicated to providing an amazing workplace experience and part of that is being located somewhere people want to be – One Colorado in Old Pasadena fits the bill. We’re proud to be expanding our national presence into the city and look forward to supporting local companies.”
Industrious is known for its professional atmosphere, thoughtfully-designed spaces intended to increase productivity, and a hospitality-driven, member-centric approach. Industrious Old Pasadena will offer shared workspaces including coworking and enclosed private offices with access to amenities and common areas. Additional benefits include a dedicated Community Manager, unlimited color printing, member programming and events, access to the Industrious national network, and breakfast and snacks served daily, in addition to a fully-stocked cafe including coffee and sparkling waters. It is expected to be open for business Q3 2020.
“We are excited to add a best-in-class brand like Industrious to Old Pasadena. This addition continues to elevate the premier tenant mix at One Colorado,” said David Dieterle, executive vice president of leasing and development at ShopCore Properties. “The demand for an integrated community gathering place of work, life, and play is rapidly growing, and we are pleased to partner with Industrious to create a vibrant and connected environment perfect for the local community.”
One Colorado is the latest mixed-use retail center to add flexible workspace in partnership with Industrious. Industrious has also announced plans to bring its offerings to Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, MO, The Collection at UTC in La Jolla, CA, The Mall at Short Hills in Short Hills, NJ, and Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek, CA. Its first mall location, Industrious Scottsdale – Fashion Square, opened earlier this year to great success, reaching near complete occupancy in just 10 weeks.
