Atlanta’s first facility built for small businesses and e-commerce operators has officially opened its doors.
Saltbox, a coworking and cowarehousing facility, includes traditional coworking amenities as well as warehousing abilities like storage, loading docks and more.
The 27,000 square foot space currently has more than 30 members and 20 businesses from various industries such as household goods, beauty, technology and more.
According to Invest in Atlanta, Saltbox will make a $5.6 million economic impact on the local economy based off the money invested in the building and the jobs it has created.
“We created this concept because we saw a need for it,” said Tyler Scriven, cofounder and CEO of Saltbox. “There’s no shortage of growing small businesses and entrepreneurs in Atlanta, but there was a shortage of purpose-built space that allows a business to operate as a business, store and ship product, and also provide a community of peers and collaboration. Saltbox is the solution.”
