Flexible office provider NeueHouse is taking a new approach as it gears up to open its third location in Los Angeles’ Bradbury Building.
Josh Wyatt, CEO of NeueHouse, says the company is more of a hospitality company than a coworking space, which helps differentiate it from the companies that sit somewhere in the middle.
“I’m a hotelier by background. I’ve also owned restaurants and nightclubs so I understand what makes people feel good, whether it’s an eight euro a night bed in a Generator or an 850 euro bottle of Belvedere in my nightclub in Verbier,” said Wyatt. “There are certain things that have to get done in a shared work space that anyone can do. WeWork, those guys, you can have a desk, you can have Wi-Fi, you can have a hot coffee. That’s basic, right? I think everyone needs that, just like a [traveler needs a] bed.”
NeueHouse combines hospitality with the world of working by incorporating a high level of service, as well as content programming.
Wyatt adds that NeueHouse is a lifestyle business, which is why the company is pacing itself in terms of expansion compared to similar companies within the industry.
