Coworking provider Mindspace will open its first location in Philadelphia and third in the U.S. this year in the Wanamaker Building in partnership with Rubenstein Partners.
The company will take up 42,000 square feet and operate workspaces for companies on behalf of Rubenstein under the Mindspace brand.
“We’re very excited by this opportunity to bring our experience with coworking spaces in similar heritage buildings around the world to Philadelphia’s Wanamaker Building,” said Dan Zakai, Mindspace CEO. “Landlords recognize that the traditional leasing model has been disrupted, and that flex spaces and coworking can help broaden their offerings to tenants.”
The company’s “Mindspace for Landlords” offering ensures that it will offer management services for building amenities such as meeting rooms, communal areas and community programming.
