Femme x Columbia, Columbia’s first female-oriented coworking space, will open this fall. The office space aims to provide women and minorities a variety of business needs, as well as other amenities to benefit their wellbeing.
“Essentially what we believe in is that women and men should have equitable access to social, financial and political capital,” said Stephanie Isaacs, cofounder of Femme x Columbia. “Our target audience is everyone who supports women in business, as professionals and leaders.”
The company is built around five principles: work, cultivate, socialize, revive and fuel. The workspace will feature various work options, such as shared desks, meeting rooms and outdoor garden work areas.
Additionally, Femme x Columbia offers a broad range of membership options in an effort to be more inclusive and affordable to women professionals, starting at $55 a month that provides members access to private events and happy hours.
