NEW YORK, NY (FEBRUARY 1, 2021) – Industrious, the highest-rated workplace provider in the U.S., and Wythe Hotel, the original boutique hotel in Brooklyn, today announced the expansion of their partnership in converting a selection of loft-style guest rooms into private office suites. Following the success of its inaugural pop-up in summer 2020, Industrious at Wythe Hotel launches with a dedicated membership model — Oasis by Industrious at Wythe Hotel — to deliver ‘just the right amount of office’ via redesigned office suites and an expanded member perks program.
Industrious at Wythe Hotel demonstrates the success of the hotel-workspace provider partnership model. The partnership was the first-of-its-kind upon launch, and the summer activation saw 30% growth month-over-month with a 40% guest return rate among workers seeking a comfortable, safe alternative to working from home. Industrious at Wythe Hotel also marks Industrious’ third location in Brooklyn, following the launch of Industrious Brooklyn – 1000 Dean in late 2020.
“When we launched our initial partnership with Wythe Hotel last summer, together we were really able to set the standard for what the work-from-hotel experience could be,” says Anna Squires Levine, Chief Commercial Officer at Industrious. “The creation of Industrious at Wythe Hotel was inspired in part by the idea that folks are looking for options to ‘work from anywhere,’ and we are thrilled that the interest in this space has led to the extension of our partnership with one of the city’s top hotels. We look forward to continuing to welcome those living in or visiting Brooklyn to the warm, comfortable workplace environment they need to do their best work.”
Membership affords access to a Wythe Hotel office suite four days per month, with the ability to book additional days as needed. The expanded partnership now integrates Industrious at Wythe Hotel members into the benefits program of Industrious’ Oasis membership, unlocking Industrious’ national network of workspaces as needed. Members may book one hour of conference room space per month at any Industrious location, and have access to a dedicated digital Industrious Community Manager and Industrious’ online portal for daily bookings, virtual events and additional resources.
Oasis by Industrious at Wythe Hotel members enjoy room service from the hotel’s award-winning brasserie Le Crocodile, and will receive priority access to lunch reservations Monday through Friday once indoor dining resumes. Oasis Members also receive a 25% discount on overnight stays at the hotel, while a 15% discount on overnight stays at the hotel is now also extended to Industrious members at-large.
“As many New Yorkers continue to work-from-home, there is a growing demand for flexible work-from-anywhere spaces. Following the success of the initial launch, we saw an opportunity to expand our partnership with Industrious to offer safe and comfortable spaces for remote workers. We were able to provide our office guests with personalized hospitality services to create an environment that is conducive for productivity and collaboration,” said Peter Lawrence, Owner of Wythe Hotel. “We are excited to build upon our relationship with Industrious and look forward to caring for our new office guests”
The office suites have been upgraded from their first iteration to include Industrious’ signature desk, fresh coffee and office supplies, Herman Miller chairs, and a pre-programmed Echo Dot. All suites are equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, unlimited digital access to The New York Times and printing from the front desk. Suites can accommodate up to four team members and feature 13’ high original timber ceilings, a private bathroom, oversized windows, cool concrete floors, custom amenities and works by local artists. Contactless check-in is conducted in the hotel’s lobby.
Located on the Williamsburg waterfront, Wythe Hotel is Brooklyn’s original boutique property, featuring 70 rooms and an award-winning brasserie Le Crocodile. Williamsburg is one of Brooklyn’s most dynamic neighborhoods, and the best galleries, boutiques, bars, restaurants and concert halls are all within walking distance of the hotel. During the shutdown in spring 2020, Wythe Hotel housed medical workers from Woodhull Hospital in Bushwick and NYU Langone Hospital in Sunset Park while a majority of hotels across the city remained closed. Armed with the essential tools needed to provide elevated hospitality in the age of COVID-19, this experience has directly enabled the hotel to safely care for guests.
Industrious provides productive and engaging workplaces for companies of all sizes and stages. Around the country, past and present Industrious members include: Cisco, Compass, Spotify, Heineken, Chipotle, Pinterest, and Salesforce.
Oasis by Industrious at Wythe Hotel membership starts at $300 per month and is now available for purchase.
