The DowntownDC Business Improvement District (BID) is providing an ideal work solution for those wanting to come back to the office.
The new outdoor workspace called DC Workeries will open this fall in partnership with the BID, flexible workspace provider WorkChew, and Verizon.
The first location is currently open and is located at membership club Eaton House. The space features Wi-Fi and will provide members a discount to the nearby Baker’s Daughter cafe.
DC Workeries hopes to accommodate the new needs of the remote workforce and allow professionals to connect with their colleagues and clients in a safe manner.
“We foresee DC Workeries being a flexible workspace for individuals and teams alike to use in community with each other as a break away from the monotony of the home office,” said a BID representative. “As businesses adjust their in-office mandates to meet the needs of employees, DC Workeries is here to provide a unique work experience for those non-office workdays.”
