Virtual presentation startup Mmhmm has launched its own platform for video discussions.
OOO (pronounced like “ooh!”) is available for users to replace Zoom and other competitors for a more engaging virtual experience.
Phil Libin, cofounder and CEO of Mmhmm, says that the platform can be used for formal meetings as well as informal discussions.
The platform includes the ability to interpose new backgrounds that include an 8-bit video game, a bonfire, a coffee shop with music, and more.
For instance, during a demo call, Libin was able to move his video image into a cup of coffee and fill up his real-life coffee cup from the larger vessel.
Not only that, but users can also gain access to other features such as Youtube or Mmhmm’s forthcoming video playlist service called Mmhmm TV.
“It’s like Netflix for all your work stuff,” said Libin. “It shows you all of your interactive communications and lets you watch them.”
