The Future Of Work Perceives Remote Work And Freelancers In A New Light

According to a new report from Voices, the way businesses perceive remote work and freelancing is becoming increasingly positive.

The 2022 Annual Trends Report shows that companies are starting to recognize that there are great benefits to remote and hybrid workforces, as well as tapping into the world of freelancers. This is impacting both the way the company operates and how they sound.

“Now that we’ve settled into the new remote and hybrid work environment, brands are looking for ways to both stay connected, and also do so authentically, even if that means being less than perfectly polished,” said David Ciccarelli, Founder and CEO of Voices. “Now, more than ever, it’s critical for brands to consider what they sound like as audiences step away from the screen and embrace more listening experiences. It’s time to consider audio branding as a core component of any successful marketing strategy going into 2022.”

According to the survey, there has been a 22% increase in Voice Over Internet Video Projects, meaning that this form of audio marketing is anticipated for even more growth in the coming year.

Both survey feedback and internal data showed that there are a few trends to expect in the future: remote work is here to stay, freelance hiring will continue to grow, and audio will play a larger role in marketing initiatives.
