California coworking operator Downtown Works will expand its Carlsbad location by 50%, implementing new features like sound-proofed offices and outdoor workspaces.

Coworking operator Downtown Works is expanding its location in Carlsbad by 50%, incorporating new amenities at 2011 Palomar Airport Road.

The company is adding sound-proofed offices, outdoor meeting spaces, workstations, and more that can be rented monthly, weekly, daily, and even hourly.

Members also have access to adjustable desks, on-demand local craft beer, a podcasting studio, and private showers.

“We’ve expanded to meet demand for premium coworking space in San Diego’s North County that is reasonably priced and flexible for those embracing today’s hybrid office trend – where you work from home one day, and a coworking space the next,” said David Adato, operations manager at Downtown Works.

Along with its hospitable approach, Downtown Works has focused on implementing tools to create a safe workspace amidst the pandemic – a trend seen across many coworking spaces. These include touchless coffee makers, air purifiers, a premium HVAC system, keyless entry, and the firm is also limiting capacity.
