FlexJobs Reveals The Top Companies For Remote Positions

FlexJobs has revealed the findings of its ninth annual Top 100 Companies to Watch for Remote Jobs, as well as the top career fields for remote work in 2022.

FlexJobs has announced its Top 100 Companies to Watch for Remote Jobs, the company’s ninth annual installment. 

According to the company, the pandemic has driven the number of remote workers as companies shift to more flexible arrangements.

Although this pivot was initially viewed as temporary, many employers have discovered that remote and hybrid models have actually improved overall productivity.  

A FlexJobs survey revealed that 65% of respondents want to maintain full-time remote work and 58% stated they would seek a new position if they were not offered this arrangement.

As a result, FlexJobs found that the number of remote job postings on its database grew 12% in 2021. 

The findings revealed that computer and IT industries ranked number one in terms of remote jobs, but accounting and finance positions saw a significant increase. 

The top 10 career fields for remote work in 2022 are expected to be: 

  1. Computer & IT 
  2. Accounting & Finance 
  3. Marketing 
  4. Medical & Health 
  5. Project Management 
  6. Customer Service 
  7. HR & Recruiting 
  8. Sales 
  9. Administrative 
  10. Education & Training

The company was also able to analyze the jobs postings of around 57,000 companies, allowing them to compile the top 100 companies that posted the most remote positions during 2021.
