LinkedIn has released its 2022 Jobs on the Rise list that showcases the 25 fastest-growing positions over the last five years.

As a result of the ongoing health crisis, jobs that were non-existent just years ago have been propelled into the mainstream.ย ย 

Now, these positions are among theย most high-demand jobsย and in 2022, will make a huge splash in the global workforce.ย

In preparation for this shift, LinkedIn has released its 2022 Jobs on the Rise list that showcases the 25 fastest-growingย positionsย over the last five years. The top 10 include:ย 

  1. Vaccine Specialistย 
  2. Diversity and Inclusion Managerย 
  3. Customer Marketing Managerย 
  4. Machine Learning Engineerย 
  5. Process Development Specialistย 
  6. Business Development Representativeย 
  7. Search Marketing Managerย 
  8. User Experience Researcherย 
  9. Business System Administratorย 
  10. Analyst Relations Specialistย 

โ€œIf you asked me two years ago to guess what the top job in 2022 would be, I wouldnโ€™t have said โ€˜vaccine specialistโ€™ in a million years,โ€ said Dan Roth, editor-in-chief and vice president at LinkedIn.ย

Among the top 10 were many tech-relatedย roles, which has seen a significant increase due toย the pandemic acceleratingย our reliance on various technological advancements.ย 

However, notย all ofย these positions were driven by the pandemic.ย The role of diversity and inclusion manager becameย increasinglyย in-demand following the murder of George Floyd and Black Lives Matter movement during the summer of 2020.ย 

Out of LinkedInโ€™s top 25 positions, 24 offered remote or flexible work arrangements.ย
