Mindspace will open two new locations in Berlin following its recent funding of $72 million in equity capital that is going towards expansion.
The first Mindspace workspace will be located in Berlin’s FÜRST skyscraper, where it will take up around 75,000 square feet of office space.
This flexible workspace location will be part of Berlin’s well-known Kurfürstendammwith district that features over 200,000 square feet of commercial space and parking.
Additionally, the firm will open another space on Zimmerstraße in Berlin, marking its tenth office space in Germany. This location will take up over 48,000 square feet of space across eight floors near the sight of the historic Berlin Wall.
Both workspaces are slated to open in July of 2022 and will be nearby three other Mindspace locations.
Along with its expansion, Mindspace also recently announced that Ana Nekhamkin will serve as its new global Vice President of Real Estate and Projects.
“Germany is a key market for Mindspace and our expansion in Berlin is one of the many to come,” said Oliver Lehmann, General Manager Mindspace Germany. “Currently our occupancy rate in Germany is over 95 percent and in some cities, even more. Mindspace is on a path of growth and we’re excited to have such great partners by our side for the journey.”
