Fitness facility company Life Time and JDS Development have announced that they will come together to provide a fitness and coworking space at The Brooklyn Tower in New York City.
This marks the first Life Time Work coworking space in the city and will bring the firm’s well-known athletic club to the Downtown Brooklyn building. The space is expected to open in 2023.
“As part of our continued New York City expansion strategy, we’re collaborating with like-minded developers focused on providing elevated, convenient, healthy lifestyle-focused experiences in iconic locations,” said Parham Javaheri, Chief Property Development Officer at Life Time.
Life Time Work’s presence aims to take the mantra of healthy living and bring it to the workplace. The coworking space will feature both private offices, open-floor plans, and conference rooms across 15,000 square feet. This location will be Life Time’s eighth coworking space in the US, with plans to open three this year.
Life Time’s athletic presence at The Brooklyn Tower will feature a massive fitness experience for residents and members. This includes barre, cycle, and group fitness studios, as well as Pilates and yoga classes. Additionally, members can access a recovery center with chiropractic services and enjoy lunch at fast casual spot LifeCafe.
