As the competition to attract digital nomads ramps up, the European Union is providing a new opportunity to live and work in the Balkan region.
For five digital nomads, the EU is offering them the chance to live in Bosnia and Herzegovina for free. In order to be accepted, these workers must be totally remote, have three or more social media accounts and have the ability to travel during the specified dates.
Participants will also be required to publish three updates on each of their social media accounts, where they share photos and details of their experiences.
In exchange for their residency, the EU will provide the digital nomads with travel, food, accommodations and mandatory tours of the region.
