In response to the growing demand for flexible work environments, Brightline, the Florida-based high-speed rail service, has partnered with coworking provider Industrious to create new workspaces at its stations.Â
Starting today, Brightline’s stations in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and Orlando will feature dedicated coworking spaces, and select train cars will be available for business meetings or private bookings.
This partnership aims to address the changing nature of work, especially for business travelers. As remote work continues to gain traction, the ability to work on the go has become increasingly important. Brightline sees this new service as an opportunity to cater to professionals who are already using their travel time to work but often struggle with less-than-ideal spaces, according to Fast Company.Â
Industrious, known for creating workspaces in unconventional locations, saw a strong response to its previous efforts, including a pop-up coworking space in New York’s Madison Square Park. This collaboration builds on that experience, offering professionals more comfortable, productive options while traveling.
With dedicated spaces for focused work or meetings in the stations and on select trains, Brightline is looking to provide a seamless transition for professionals moving between cities.Â
