WeWork India plans to expand its Hyderabad operations with a ₹100 crore ($12–13 million USD) investment, adding roughly 3,300 desks by June 2026. The move reflects strong demand for flexible office space in the city, driven by enterprises and startups adopting hybrid work models, according to Realty +. Hyderabad’s growing technology and startup sectors make it a priority for coworking operators.
The new desks will be added through a lease agreement, increasing WeWork India’s capacity in Hyderabad by about 20%. The company currently operates more than 121,000 desks nationwide, with utilization near 84%.
The expansion targets both large corporate clients and smaller businesses. Enterprise demand is cited as a key driver, with flexible formats enabling companies to scale office space quickly without long-term commitments.
WeWork India expects to add 25,000–30,000 seats across other major cities in FY27, continuing its expansion in response to rising hybrid work adoption and demand for scalable office solutions.
