CO-SPACE SIGNS NEW SITES WITH LOCAL AUTHORITIES IN HARLOW AND WATFORD

Co-Space, the flexible workspace operator, has signed circa 19,500 sq ft of new workspace at the landmark Market House in Harlow

Co-Space, the flexible workspace operator, has signed circa 19,500 sq ft of new workspace at the landmark Market House in Harlow, alongside a second location at Watford’s Town Hall as part of the wider Town Hall Quarter regeneration scheme. The Watford site will comprise 15,000 sq ft within the historic Town Hall building.

The 15-year lease, in partnership with Harlow will see Co-Space occupy Market House following its recent acquisition by Harlow Council, as part of the Council’s £23.7m vision to transform Market Square into a vibrant hub for leisure, hospitality and business.

In Watford, Co-Space will play a key role in activating the Town Hall Quarter – a 10-year, multi-project initiative to transform the area into a dynamic, mixed-use destination incorporating cultural, residential, health and innovation space.

“We thrive on supporting local businesses, and partnering with forward-thinking local authorities is exactly what we want to do, and do more of,” said William Stokes, CEO & Co-Founder of Co-Space. “These projects in both Harlow and Watford show what’s possible when the public and private sectors work together creatively. We’re not just delivering workspace, we’re helping shape places where businesses, communities and local economies can grow and thrive.”

This marks Co-Space’s third and fourth local authority partnerships, reinforcing the operator’s commitment to collaborative delivery models that support local entrepreneurialism, attract high-calibre businesses, and boost productivity within regional economies.

Harlow’s regeneration leverages the town’s position on the Cambridge–London Innovation Corridor, its proximity to Stansted Airport, and excellent rail links to London and Cambridge. By providing flexible workspace in a revitalised town centre, the programme aims to attract high-value businesses, create local jobs, retain talent, and support sustainable economic growth.

Co-Space also recognises the strong strategic value of its Watford location, which is well positioned to benefit from the town’s established reputation as a major commercial and commuter hub. With excellent connectivity to London, a diverse and growing business base, and ongoing investment through the Town Hall Quarter regeneration, Watford presents a compelling environment for flexible workspace. The site is expected to attract a broad mix of occupiers, from local entrepreneurs to established firms seeking high-quality, well-connected space, further reinforcing Co-Space’s focus on locations with strong underlying demand and long-term growth potential.

Desks will be priced from £350 + VAT per month, inclusive of business rates, utilities and service charges.
