Flexible workspace operator Industrious has rebranded its former The Great Room locations across Asia-Pacific and says it plans to double its regional footprint by mid-2027 as part of its international expansion strategy.
The rebrand took effect on July 1, with all seven locations previously operating as The Great Room now using the Industrious name. The move completes the integration that began after Industrious acquired the Singapore-based premium coworking operator in 2022, according to Coworking Europe.
Singapore Expansion Leads Regional Growth
Industrious currently operates 12 locations across four Asia-Pacific markets, including seven in Singapore, two in Sydney, two in Bangkok, and one in Hong Kong.
The company expects to expand its Asia-Pacific portfolio by more than 50% over the next 12 months, with three additional Singapore locations scheduled to open in 2026. It aims to double its regional presence by the middle of 2027.
Part of Global Strategy
The Asia-Pacific expansion follows CBRE’s acquisition of Industrious in 2025. According to the company, its global portfolio has grown by 58% since the acquisition, and it plans to open more than 60 additional locations worldwide during 2026. Industrious now operates more than 250 flexible workspaces across more than 80 cities globally.
