UK Firms Are Relying On Managed Service Providers For Workplace Adjustments

A new report from the Information Services Group (ISG) shows that UK enterprises are increasingly relying on managed service providers to help them transition to more digitally driven work strategies.

The 2021 ISG Provider Lens™ Future of Work – Services and Solutions report reveals that companies are considering transitioning to hybrid or remote working arrangements, but that many of these firms have been slow to actually adjusting their business model to accommodate this new way of operating.

“With the end of CJRS (Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme), enterprises in the UK need to re-examine their operating models,” said Iain Fisher, leader of ISG Future of Work Solutions. “Workplace outsourcing declined in 2020, but organizations now need to collaborate with service providers to adjust to changing requirements and deploy technologies that produce business results.”

In fact, the average managed service provider says 40% of its UK clients have increased their consultations for their workplace strategy. Even more, providers have seen a 17% increase in its consultants.
