LinkedIn has released its 2022 Jobs on the Rise list that showcases the 25 fastest-growing positions over the last five years.

LinkedIn Releases The Fastest Growing Jobs For 2022

As a result of the ongoing health crisis, jobs that were non-existent just years ago have been propelled into the mainstream.  

Now, these positions are among the most high-demand jobs and in 2022, will make a huge splash in the global workforce.

In preparation for this shift, LinkedIn has released its 2022 Jobs on the Rise list that showcases the 25 fastest-growing positions over the last five years. The top 10 include: 

  1. Vaccine Specialist 
  2. Diversity and Inclusion Manager 
  3. Customer Marketing Manager 
  4. Machine Learning Engineer 
  5. Process Development Specialist 
  6. Business Development Representative 
  7. Search Marketing Manager 
  8. User Experience Researcher 
  9. Business System Administrator 
  10. Analyst Relations Specialist 

“If you asked me two years ago to guess what the top job in 2022 would be, I wouldn’t have said ‘vaccine specialist’ in a million years,” said Dan Roth, editor-in-chief and vice president at LinkedIn.

Among the top 10 were many tech-related roles, which has seen a significant increase due to the pandemic accelerating our reliance on various technological advancements. 

However, not all of these positions were driven by the pandemic. The role of diversity and inclusion manager became increasingly in-demand following the murder of George Floyd and Black Lives Matter movement during the summer of 2020. 

Out of LinkedIn’s top 25 positions, 24 offered remote or flexible work arrangements.
