Airbnb Begins Testing Coworking Bookings In London

The limited UK launch suggests Airbnb is testing demand for flexible workspaces before deciding whether to expand the feature to more operators and markets.

Airbnb is expanding beyond accommodation by testing coworking bookings in London, with U.K. operators Oneder and Work.Life among the first workspace providers to list day passes and meeting rooms on the platform, according to Coworking Europe.

The rollout is part of Airbnb Services, a product introduced in 2025 that has expanded this summer to include flexible workspaces alongside offerings such as airport pickups, grocery delivery and car rentals. The feature is aimed at travelers who blend business trips, remote work and leisure travel.

London Operators Join the Pilot

Oneder announced it is offering day passes and meeting rooms across its three London locations through Airbnb. The flexible workspace company was founded in 2023 by former WeWork real estate executive David Kaiser and Purpose Group founder Dan Cohen.

Work.Life has also joined the pilot, making its St Cross Street, Borough and Holborn locations bookable through Airbnb Services. Founded in 2015, the company operates 11 coworking spaces across the UK, primarily in London and Manchester.

Limited Rollout Signals Early Test

For now, the coworking feature appears to be limited to a small number of London locations, indicating Airbnb is testing customer demand and operational logistics before deciding whether to expand the service.

It remains unclear when additional coworking operators or international markets could be added, but the move signals Airbnb’s continued push into services that support increasingly flexible ways of working and traveling.
