Coworkies was founded when Pauline Roussel was managing a Berlin coworking space and Dimitar Inchev was an Entrepreneur in Residence for a big startup accelerator. From there, the two discussed how startups needed help recruiting staff or finding freelancers.
“Firstly we wanted to understand why people go to coworking spaces, what they look for when joining one, and how they measure the tools used by the space, so we interviewed several owners/managers of spaces and created one of the very first coworker surveys,” said Roussel. “This quickly got shared in over 100 coworking spaces across 20 cities and pushed us to start traveling to see first-hand what was going on.”
Now, Coworkies promotes gigs and full-time jobs in coworking spaces by showcasing the position, as well as the community around it. With a simple search, employers can find SEO experts, web developers, designers, and more.
