It is clear that the coronavirus outbreak has changed the way we work forever. Now, companies have invested into technology to allow their workers to complete tasks from the safety of their homes.

Massachusetts-based Workbar is taking the steps to welcome back members after quarantining and isolation has ended. Prior to the health crisis, Workbar recognized the importance of wellness in the workplace which led it to achieve WELL Certification from the International Well Building Institute.

For instance, the company’s spaces feature sensors that continuously measure air pollution and alarm if there is too much carbon dioxide. It also includes lighting systems that mimic circadian rhythms and ergonomic furniture.

When members come back to Workbar, they can expect cleanliness stations at the entrance, air purification systems with UV lights to reduce bacteria and a feature on their platform that allows people to check the density of the space before they leave their home and change their location based on their comfort level.

Additionally, Workbar will be using a percentage of meeting rooms for companies with remote employees so they have a safe space to have video conferences or work privately.

The company has also launched Workbar Cares, a platform that encourages virtual coworking and provides members and staff with a sense of community while working from home. It has also introduced Workbar Live, a virtual event program that will offer educational content to stimulate discussion and build meaningful connections.
