Meeting productivity software company Fellow has raised $24 million in a Series A funding round as it works to provide companies with the right resources to support all meeting types.
The company was founded in 2017 and aims to help make every meeting productive, collaborative, and process-driven.
“Before when we were all in-person, no one brought any devices into a meeting, and now every meeting is on a device, which has opened up the landscape,” said Aydin Mirzaee, CEO and cofounder of Fellow. “It’s crazy to think that people haven’t built software for meetings in the past, but now it makes sense to have a platform across the company to make sure all meetings are productive.”
In order to accomplish this goal of only creating productive meetings, Fellow offers companies the ability to use agenda templates, action item identification, insight analytics, as well as virtual meeting software note-taking capabilities.
Fellow is seeing a healthy growth trajectory as companies shift to a more technologically-driven mode of operating, especially during meetings. The company’s users include Shopify and GoCardless and it has nearly tripled its customer base in the past year.
It’s newest funding round will be used towards product development, hiring for its sales, marketing, and customer success teams, and constructing its infrastructure. It also brings its total funds raised to $30.5 million.
