After witnessing strong demand in the area, Avanta Managed Offices isn’t wasting any expansion opportunities in London’s West End. The business center giant just added new serviced office space to its London property portfolio.
Specifically, Avanta has entered into a management agreement to run a new London business center located at 25 Sackville Street. Avanta will soon occupy the 23,000-square-foot space on the ground and four upper floors at the location, giving the business center brand a strong presence in the neighborhood.
“We have had over 12,000 enquiries over the course of the year to date, and of these, 30 percent are for office space in London’s West End,” says Alan Pepper, CEO of Avanta.
“Taking on Sackville Street completes a hat-trick of West End additions to our office space portfolio and our agreement with Aldersgate Investments Limited is demonstrative that non-traditional lettings in Central London are a viable option for landlords who want to generate revenue in the short to medium term, in a competitive property market.”
Avanta will open its Sackville Street business center in January 2013, offering tenants office space in a prime West End location that’s just 250 meters from the Picadilly Circus tube station.
Avanta’s other two West End locations include Ealing and Hammersmith. Ealing is a fully refurbished office in one of West London’s most popular business districts, with its village atmosphere and excellent location within easy reach of Central London and Heathrow Airport. The Hammersmith location is just a two-minute walk from the Hammersmith tube station and is spread over 11 floors.
The deal comes just a few months after Avanta opened the doors to new serviced office facilities in Hanover Square and Cavendish Square. Hanover Square is a bustling square a few seconds’ walk from Regent Street, in the Mayfair district. Many of its impressive Georgian buildings remain, alongside a number of new build offices. Local amenities include some of London’s finest hotels, shops and restaurants, in Mayfair and nearby Bond Street.
