New York, NY — February 23, 2017 —The Yard, a collaborative workspace to grow your business, expands to Boston with a new lease at 120 St. James Avenue, formerly known as the John Hancock Tower. The Yard: Back Bay location will be the company’s first in Boston and the 13th location nationwide intended to provide entrepreneurs with flexible, month-to-month work space to inspire growth and celebrate success.
Overlooking Copley Square, The Yard: Back Bay will occupy 32,147 square feet on the 6th floor of 120 St. James Avenue in Boston Properties’ 200 Clarendon building. The Yard signed a 15-year lease in the iconic, sky blue windowed, 62-story building which holds the title of New England’s tallest building. Recognized as an innovation in modern, minimalist design, the gorgeous skyscraper will provide a space for businesses and entrepreneurs to grow their business in an environment that is as impressive as it is productive. The landlord, Boston Properties, and The Yard were represented by Transwestern. The Back Bay location is scheduled to open in Fall 2017.
